Hello! I’m Tymesha Farr, a 17-year-old high school student graduating in the class of ‘26. For my future career, I’ve chosen to attend the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD), where I’ll be majoring in Interior Design. After graduating from college, I plan to establish my career in Georgia, putting my skills to use in the state’s vibrant design scene. I chose interior design because of my creative outlook on life and cause of my constant need to express myself through my creations. I have been with BDP for 9 years, and it has been an amazing experience, the dancers and the mentors at BDP has helped me become who I am today! They are a team full of sisters who have grown together and have each others backs. I have learned discipline and responsibility while being on the team, as well as found family and support. With your support I can focus on honing my skills and giving back to the design community in Georgia. Receiving this support would help me achieve my design dreams and also allow me to give back to the dance community, maybe even creating spaces that inspire young dancers like BDP inspired me.
